"Geometric shapes with frames" was designed with a purpose of introducing the child to geometric shapes, understanding colours, developing language and logical thinking. It exercises a delicate “tweezer” type grip, when carefully removing and reinserting the given geometric shapes by using the wooden knobs. It also develops fine finger muscles, movement coordination, logical thinking and patience. We recommend tracing each shape on paper with a pencil after which the drawn silhouette can be coloured - it is such a great way of training fingers and patience! Later, encourage the child to create different ornaments, geometric combinations and figures as well. In order to be able to use this game for colour learning as well, we have painted each geometric figure in its own primary color.
