Baby's first wooden blocks
Age 0-1 years
DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
These small, wooden play blocks are ideal for the smallest challengers, helping to develop sight, touch, hearing, motor coordination, logical thinking and much more. Hand-painted pattern and hand-painted blocks ensure quality and educational play.
It is recommended to give blocks to the baby from the age of about 5 months, when the baby is able to hold a small object in his hands. In this way, the opening of the little child's fist is stimulated, and the child begins to get to know the basic colors. In order for the child to feel the differences between different materials, it is recommended to use wooden blocks. When presenting a block, parents can name its color, which remains in the baby's memory.
When the baby learns to sit, the opportunities for play expand. Parents can build simple structures, such as towers, which the baby takes apart and learns causal relationships. Stacks of blocks can be placed further away from the child to encourage crawling.
At the age of about one year, the child should preferably be able to stack 4 blocks one on top of the other. Parents need to demonstrate this skill repeatedly for the child to learn it. It develops movement coordination, sense of balance, concentration, diligence and patience. When the child already knows how to build towers, the next challenge is to put the blocks back in the box.
At about one and a half years old, the baby can sort blocks by color. This activity develops sight, touch, hearing, precision of grip and hand movements, static sense of balance, spatial orientation, eye-hand cooperation, logical thinking and the ability to systematize.
